The FCA has added Zurich Capital to its warning list saying it has been providing financial products or services in the UK without authorisation.
The firm’s website describes it as a wealth manager founded in 2002 and based in Zurich, Switzerland.
“This firm is not authorised by us and is targeting people in the UK,” a warning published on the FCA website this afternoon says.
“Based upon information we hold, we believe it is carrying on regulated activities which require authorisation.”
Zurich Capital’s website, which says it caters to retail and institutional investors, advertises an investment plan “with returns as high as 80 per cent over a one month period” for investors with as little as £1,000 to invest.
Its other offerings include a bespoke service for clients with over £100,000 as well as model portfolio services.
