WH Ireland has promoted Roddy Buchanan to head of wealth management and appointed former Deutsche Bank and Rathbone employee Rupert Yeoward as his deputy.
Buchanan, who was deputy head of private clients at the firm, takes over the wealth management division from chief executive Richard Killingbeck, who will now focus on his role at a group level.
Meanwhile, Yeoward will focus on WH Ireland’s regional offering in Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Poole. Yeoward was previously an independent wealth management consultant after working at Deutsche Bank and Rathbone Investment Management for three and five years respectively.
Killingbeck says: “The appointments of Roddy and Rupert continues our programme of change across the division. Their extensive combined experience will be instrumental in the strengthening and development of our wealth management proposition.
“Working closely together, the pair will help WH Ireland continue to be a forward looking, market-led wealth business, dedicated to enhancing our clients’ wealth.”
Yeoward adds: “I am very pleased to be joining WH Ireland at such an exciting time for the business. WH Ireland has a strong heritage and I look forward to helping build upon the history of the group as it continues to grow its wealth management business and further establish the company as a modern, dynamic and innovative wealth manager.”
