UBS Global Asset Management is an asset manager with investment capabilities across all major traditional and alternative asset classes. These include equity, fixed income, currency, hedge fund, real estate, infrastructure and private equity investment capabilities that can also be combined in multi-asset strategies.
In 2014, the company delivered a net profit attributable to shareholders of CHF 3.5bn, which was a 9% increase on 2013. In wealth management, their adjusted profit before tax was up 4% to the previous year to CHF 2.5bn.
Asset under management stand at CHF 586bn (£384.5bn), as at end of March 2014, and globally the firm has around 3,700 employees located in 24 countries.
In the UK, UBS Global Asset Management provides its services to individuals, companies, pension funds, financial institutions and charities. Funds on offer include a range of offshore funds covering most asset classes and domiciled in Luxembourg, Dublin and the Cayman Islands.
