Tilney Bestinvest research head Simon Moore has left the firm following its acquisition of Ingenious Asset Management, Fund Strategy understands.
A spokeswoman would not confirm Moore’s departure, but said the firm had “combined research functions and restructured the team” following the Ingenious deal.
Moore’s LinkedIn profile states his role terminated this month following seven years with the company.
Combined, Tilney Bestinvest and Ingenious manage £11.2bn in assets, with 80 per cent being managed or advised.
Ingenious, which specialises in entertainment investment, gives Tilney Bestinvest access to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients in London.
