T. Rowe Price poaches Neptune’s Jenkins for funds launch

Business-Handshake-General-Hire-Appointment-700x450.jpgT. Rowe Price has appointed Neptune’s Matthew Jenkins as head of strategic partners as the group prepares to unveil its Oeic fund range in the coming months.

Jenkins will manage the firm’s  relationships with platforms, life companies, fund ratings agencies and large national advisory firms.

At Neptune Investment Management Jenkins was most recently its head of advisory sales and strategic partners.He joined the firm in 2007.

Jenkins also held roles at MetLife and Scottish Widows.

T. Rowe Price head of UK John Yule says: “The UK is a key market for us at T. Rowe Price. We have a long-term commitment to broadening our reach and increasing awareness of our renowned research-based capabilities in the wider advisory space.

“Matthew has built strong relationships with key partners over recent years and will undoubtedly be instrumental in helping us drive development in this key area of priority for our group.”

T. Rowe Price manages $764bn (£579bn) assets as of March 2016.
