Schroders has hired Henderson Global Investors’ Chris Paine as a fund manager on its Global Income portfolio management team.
Paine, who is experienced in equity management and quantitative analysis, will report to Aymeric Forest, head of global income, multi-asset investments. In his new role he will oversee asset allocation and portfolio construction.
Paine spent over a decade at Henderson, most recently, as director of research, multi-asset, since 2012 and was a member of Henderson’s global policy committee. Prior to that, Paine was a quantitative analyst at NPI Asset Management.
Aymeric Forest says: “We have seen continued demand from investors for sustainable income, delivered by diversifying across different asset classes. As a result we are strengthening our capabilities further by continuing to invest in senior talent.”
Schroders’ multi-asset business has over £64bn in assets under management, as at 30 September 2016.
