Business-Handshake-General-Hire-Appointment-700x450.jpgQuilter Cheviot has hired two new investment professionals, with Adam Hughes joining from Ashcourt Rowan, where he was head of model portfolio services.

Hughes will join the firm as investment director, after 20 years at Ashcourt Rowan, where he was on the asset allocation and investment committee.

Owen Jennings will also join the firm, coming from Investec Wealth & Investment, where he was an investment manager.

Jennings will join the Bristol office as investment manager, where he will manage portfolios.

Hughes says: “I wanted to move to an environment where I could capitalise on personal relationships and focus on providing a service driven by the needs of the client.

“It is clear to me that Quilter Cheviot share this view and realise the importance of working in partnership with clients and IFAs, which was ultimately a major factor in my decision to join the team.”
