Former Novia sales head joins Thesis as director

Hughes, who was previously chief executive of Burns Anderson, will start his new role as non-executive director at Thesis after just six months at wealth management platform Novia Global, where he was head of sales and marketing.

Before Novia, Hughes also held roles at investment and mortgage provider Castle Trust and national IFA firm Positive Solutions, where he was a non-executive director, according to a LinkedIn profile.

Thesis director of marketing and business development Lawrence Cook says: “Mike has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the financial services industry and we are delighted to welcome him to Thesis.

“His appointment to the board as a non-executive director will bring welcome insight and a fresh perspective on the business.”

Commenting on his appointment, Hughes says: “I’m delighted to be joining the Thesis board and I look forward to bringing my expertise to a business committed to developing innovative investment management solutions.”
