Man GLG is launching a global long-short value fund to be run by Niels Pecriaux.

Pecriaux joined Man GLG in 2010 as part of the European Long-Short equities team and since 2012 has managed a portfolio in the consumer and cyclical sectors.

The fund will have “deep synergies” with European Equities stock picking team, Man GLG says.

Pecriaux says: “Our aim is to utilise our disciplined investment process to cultivate a unique view of a company’s future potential, employing cutting edge datasets and supported by a deep understanding of our universe of companies.

He says the strategy has been developed over many years in collaboration with Man GLG’s European stock picking team.
