Macquarie appoints global chair of equities

Leonard joins Macquarie Group from UBS Global Asset Management where he was global head of equities. In his new role, he will also be head of equities at Macquarie Group’s Delaware Investments, overseeing the firm’s nine US-based equity investment teams.

Leonard is also a member of the global management committee led by Ben Bruck, global head of Macquarie Investment Management.

Bruck adds: “John’s asset management experience and leadership skills are key assets for the
