Lombard Odier IM nabs Nomura’s St-Arnaud for new role

General-Business-People-Hire-Appointment-700x450.jpgLombard Odier Investment Managers has hired Nomura’s Charles St-Arnaud as senior investment strategist.

In the newly created role, St-Arnaud will report to chief investment strategist Salman Ahmed and will work alongside him in developing the firm’s investment strategy and engaging with investors in French-speaking markets.

St-Arnaud was a was a currency strategist and economist at Nomura and spent seven years at the firm. Prior to that he was a senior economist with the Department of Finance Canada and held roles at Morgan Stanley and the Bank of Canada.
