Legg Mason’s head of UK sales Adam Gent exits after nine years

Gent Adam Legg MasonLegg Mason’s head of UK sales Adam Gent is leaving the firm after nine years “to pursue another opportunity”.

Fund Strategy understands Gent will remain in the asset management industry in his next role.

Gent was head of UK sales at the asset manager since 2010 after joining the company in 2007 as director of business development. He was previously at Henderson Global Investors. Prior to that he worked as a private client manager at Thesis Asset Management.

Legg Mason head of European sales and client service Justin Eede will temporary take on Gent’s responsibilities while the firm looks for a replacement.
