Kames Capital is launched a short-dated high yield bond fund to be managed by head of high yield David Ennett and Stephen Baines.

The Kames Short Dated High Yield Global Bond fund will focus on the CCC and above segment of the market with sub-two year duration.

The Dublin-domiciled fund, with annual charges of 0.5 per cent, will have US dollars as its base currency, but will also have sterling, euro, Swiss franc and Swedish krona share classes.

Baines says Kames’ high yield team works to a benchmark agnostic strategy, which combines detailed company-specific credit research with active top-down asset allocation.
