Kames is launching a Global Diversified Income Fund, which will provide a Dublin-domiciled counterpart to its UK-based Diversified Income Fund.
The fund seeks a monthly income of 5 per cent per annum with a target total return of 7-8 per cent after fees over three to five years.
Vincent McEntegart, from Kames’ multi asset team, will run the fund, which will comprise around 200 to 300 holdings across investment grade and high-yield bonds, global equities, listed property and specialist income – including listed infrastructure, asset leasing and renewables.
McEntegart already runs the UK-domiciled version of the fund, which has a historic yield of 5.61 per cent and a total return of 14.35 per cent since its launch in February 2014.
Scott Jamieson, head of multi-asset investing at Kames, says demand for multi-asset products is increasing.
The fund’s base currency will be Euro, but there will also be US Dollar, Sterling, Swiss Franc and Swedish Krona share classes.
