JP Morgan hires Pimco exec as global strategist

Richards will work on the multi-asset products, helping to determine asset allocation. He will report to John Bilton, global head of multi-asset strategy at JP Morgan Asset Management.

“Mark’s depth and breadth of expertise in equities research and his macro-economic background will further enhance our capabilities. He will work closely with the team on formulating macro thematic insights that inform our asset allocation views,” says Bilton.

Richards joins from Pimco, where he was responsible for equities macroeconomic research. He has also previously worked at Credit Suisse.
