JP Morgan Asset Management is a global asset manager providing a range of investment funds and segregated strategies to institutions, individuals and financial intermediaries across equities, fixed-income and money markets. It also offers alternative investments such as hedge funds, real estate and managed currency to institutional and professional advisers.
JP Morgan launched its Fusion fund range in March 2013 as an outsourced investment solution for advisers. It consists of five risk-rated fund of funds managed by Tony Lanning, who joined the company in May 2013.
The firm announced a number of changes to its entire fund range as part of its strategic review in 2013. It merged the UK Equity fund into the Strategic Growth fund and the Emerging Market Infrastructure fund with the Emerging Markets fund and closed the OEIC versions of the Global Mining fund and the Balanced Total Return fund. JP Morgan also closed eight Luxembourg-domiciled funds and merged nine other funds at the end of August, with a further eight to follow in September and November 2013.
