Troy AM hires manager for Spectrum fund

Troy Asset Management has appointed Tom Yeowart as manager of its £85m Troy Spectrum fund as Sebastian Lyon and Francis Brooke step back from managing the fund to focus on the firm’s other offerings.

Yeowart has eight years’ investment experience joining Troy from Rothschild Wealth Management where he focused on fund research.

Prior to this Yeowart also worked as a portfolio manager at Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander and later Williams de Bröe, having began his career at Brewin Dolphin.

In his new role at Troy, Yeowart will assume responsibility as the main manager of the Troy Spectrum fund which was previously managed by Troy’s investment team including chief executive Sebastian Lyon and investment director Francis Brooke.

Lyon will continue as lead manager of the £2.3bn Troy Trojan fund and Brooke will remain as lead manager of the £1.7bn Troy Trojan Income fund. Yeowart will report to both Brooker and Lyon as part of his new position.
