Tilney Bestinvest has made two appointments to its financial planning team covering the Midlands.
Neil Watson has been hired as financial planning regional director for the Midlands, including Northampton and Kettering.
Watson originally joined Tilney Bestinvest as part of the acquisition of Haines Watts Financial Services back in 2011.
He has over 28 years of experience in the financial services industry having worked as a director for the wealth management business Rocheberie Consulting and as a private banking manager at RBS.
Ross Elliott has also been hired as a financial planner at Tilney Bestinvest covering Bedford, Cambridge, Flitwick and Shefford. He will report to Watson as part of his new role.
Elliott joins Tilney Bestinvest from Natwest where he worked as a specialist financial advice manager and senior private investment manager.
Tilney Bestinvest financial planning managing director Richard Dawes says: “We are delighted to have hired Ross and to announce that Neil has taken on a regional role to develop our business in the Midlands.
“Expanding our financial planning team is a key strategic priority for Tilney Bestinvest as we see increased appetite for high quality financial planning expertise across the UK.”
