Square Mile Investment Consulting and Research has promoted Victoria Hasler to the newly created position of head of research.
In the role, she will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating fund research across all asset classes.
Fixed income specialist Hasler joined the fund research firm earlier this year as a senior investment research analyst from Brewin Dolphin and previously she has held roles at both Rothschild Private Bank and Merrill Lynch.
The firm has also appointed Alastair Wainwright as an investment research analyst, specialising in fixed income and Daniel Pereira as an investment research assistant, focusing on quantitative analysis.
Wainwright has worked most recently at Legal & General and prior to that at Standard & Poor’s, while Pereira was previously at Morningstar OBSR.
Square Mile managing director, Richard Romer-Lee, says: “Since opening for business in January this year, we have built a team of fund analysts that boasts both breadth and depth in expertise across asset classes. The insight this team offers forms the foundation on which our clients can make informed investment decisions.”
