Jupiter chairman Dundas steps down due to ill health

Jupiter Fund Management non-executive chairman and director Jamie Dundas has stepped down from his role at the firm due to ill health.

In an announcement made today Jupiter says senior independent non-executive director Liz Airey has replaced Dundas as non-executive chairman as of 1 September 2014.

Airey will also takeover Dundas’ additional role as chairman of the nomination committee at Jupiter.

The firm is seeking a replacement non-executive director to chair the audit committee, currently held by Airey.

Jupiter chief executive Maarten Slendebroek says: ““We are all very sad that Jamie has had to retire from the Board. Jupiter is fortunate to have sufficient strength and depth to deal with this unexpected event and we have an excellent successor in Liz.”
