Fidelity has boosted its UK sales team with a triple hire that includes Scottish Widows Investment Partnership’s regional investment director David Ross.
In his new role at Fidelity Ross will take on the position of key account manager where he will be responsible for supporting adviser relations in Scotland and Northern England.
Ross spent 14 years in his previous role at SWIP where he held a series of sales-focussed roles.
Fidelity has also appointed Nick Dougal and Zahid Ali to its UK retail adviser sales team. Dougal joins from Just Retirement where he worked as an account manager while Ali has been promoted internally.
Fidelity Worldwide Investment retail sales director Russell Lancaster says: “These appointments demonstrate the investment Fidelity is making to further support the work we do with advisers as we seek to engage with all parts of the market following recent regulatory changes. All three join with a wealth of experience and will significantly enhance our existing adviser sales team.”
