Anderson Strathern Asset Management has appointed former Ignis chief finance officer Eamonn Mirner as finance director.
Mirner has over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry, having worked as CFO at Ignis for more than 18 years.
More recently Mirner has also held roles at Standard Life Wealth and was interim head of fund administration at HSBC.
Mirner’s appointment follows closely after the wealth management firm hired Thomas Miller head of private investment Harry Morgan to take on the role chief investment officer back in August.
Anderson Strathern chief executive Alec Stewart says: “Eamonn has extensive managerial experience and an in-depth understanding of the financial services sector and investment operations.
“As the success of Anderson Strathern Asset Management grows, Eamonn will play a key part in setting the company’s strategy, underpinning both the operations and finances of the business.”
