Hargreaves Lansdown chief executive Ian Gorham picked up a bonus of more than £1.2m in the financial year to 30 June.

The bonus was part of Gorham’s total pay package of £1.6m, which rose from £1m for the previous year.

Chief financial officer Tracey Taylor picked up a £500,000, which took her total package to £698,867, up from £440,849.

Co-founder Peter Hargreaves was the lowest paid executive director picking up a total of £16,574, down from the previous year’s £510,739 total. His salary was reduced, to £15,750, to reflect a cut in working hours.

Co-founder Stephen Lansdown picked up a salary of £30,000 as a non-executive director.

The company saw pre-tax profits increase to £152.8m for the year to 30 June, compared with £126m during the prior year.
