Schroders chief financial officer to step down

Schroders chief financial officer and director Kevin Parry is set to step down on 5 May 2013 with PricewaterhouseCooper partner Richard Keers succeeding him.

Keers was previously PwC’s global relationship partner for Schroders between 2006 and 2010, having joined the ‘Big Four’ firm in 1988.

He will join the Schroders board group management committee, on appointment, and will have responsibility for finance, risk, human resources, internal audit and corporate communications.

Chief executive Michael Dobson says: “I would like to thank Kevin for his significant contribution to Schroders over the last ten years, as a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee and, since 2009, as chief financial officer.”
