Mirabaud Asset Management has hired Aviva global high yield manager Andrew Lake as it continues to bolster its asset management offering.
Lake joins in January 2013 and will report to partner and head of asset management Lionel Aeschlimann. Lake will be charged with managing global high yield solutions for client’s of the bank. The firm will also be launching a high yield fund for Lake.
Lake joined Aviva Investors in 2010 and was responsible for managing the £80m High Yield Bond and the £139m Managed High Income funds. He was latterly head of high yield portfolio management at Aviva. Prior to Aviva, Lake was at F&C Asset Management for four years having begun his high yield career at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 1998.
