Former Close managing director Mark Parry has been appointed as a senior investment manager within Aberdeen Asset Management’s multi-asset team.
In his new role, Parry will assist in the management of Aberdeen’s ranged of pooled funds, including the £550m Aberdeen Multi-Asset fund and the Aberdeen Diversified Growth fund which was unveiled earlier this month.
Parry will report to Mike Turner, the head of global strategy and asset allocation at the fund manager, and joins Aberdeen from Close Asset Management, where he was managing director and head of fixed income.
He has also served as the head of inflation bonds at Schroders and the head of UK fixed income at Pimco Europe.
