Thesis Asset Management has appointed Lawrence Cook as business development and marketing director.
Cook joins from Towry Wealth Management where he managed the firm’s business operation and has previously worked for Standard Life.
Neil Lloyd has also joined Thesis as a risk and compliance manager. Prior to joining Thesis, Neil spent four years at Skandia Group and seven years at Rensburg Investment Management.
David Tyerman, managing director at Thesis Asset Management, says: “These additions to the firm will support our ambitious plans for growth, as well as reinforcing our commitment to attracting and working with the most talented people in the industry.
“It is fantastic that we have been able to expand and adapt our business over the past year, especially given the growing regulatory pressures and the economic uncertainty.”
Thesis announced that it had passed its benchmark of £4 billion in assets under management earlier this month as part of a 22% increase in year-on-year growth. The firm aims to surpass £5 billion within the next 18 months.
