Old Mutual Asset Management (Omam) has appointed Olivier Lebleu as head of non-US distribution.
Lebleu will report to Julian Ide, head of global distribution at Omam, and work to “build core distribution competencies” in markets that can contribute to the group’s global expansion.
Prior to joining the asset manager, Lebleu was a partner and a member of the investment advisory committee at Stenham (Montier Partners). He has also worked as head of distribution at MFS Investment Management.
Ide says Lebleu’s experience in Europe and the Middle East will support the firm’s efforts to bolster distribution outside of the US. (article continues below)
“His experience managing teams of distribution professionals will be a significant asset as we harness the benefits of the multi-boutique model for our clients across the globe,” Ide adds.
In addition, Omam plans to announce new hires reporting to Brian Carroll, head of US distribution, in the near future.
