Kames Capital has announced that it is to restructure its property team by dividing it into five specialist divisions.
The restructuring follows the recent hires of Charles Follows as head of property research and the multi-manager property team of Mark Bunney, Matt Day and Tony Yu from ING Real Estate Investment Management UK.
The department will be split into the indirect property, research, specialist funds, property equities and direct property teams.
In a statement, Kames confirms: “Bunney will head the indirect team, while David Wise continues to head the direct team of six which is responsible for the management of the Active Value Property fund and the Aegon UK Property fund.
“Clark retains control of the specialist team of four which is responsible for the Kames Target Healthcare Property fund.
“Rogier van Aart who is responsible for real estate investment trusts within Kames Capital’s multi asset group will also be working closely with Clark.”
