The Labour Party leader has slammed chancellor George Osborne’s Budget statement, claiming that his plan to help Britain grow has failed.
Miliband asked “what planet the chancellor and prime minister are living on” as he highlighted a number of ’failures’ by the chancellor.
He says: “The driving ambition for the chancellor was a tax cut for people earning over £150,000 per year.”
The Labour leader says of the 30m tax payers in the UK, the Budget would not help 29,700,00 of them.
Describing it as a “Millionaire’s Budget”, Miliband says that the Budget was the “end of ’we’re all in this together’”.
