Sarasin & Partners has appointed Natasha Landell-Mills as head of environmental, social and governance research.
Landell-Mill is set to replace Adam Frost, who left the asset manager in April this year.
As part of her role, Landell-Mills will lead the responsible investment team, undertaking governance and policy work.
Landell-Mills previously worked for USS Investment Management, where she held a leading role in integrating environmental, social and governance factors into their investment process.
Sarasin & Partners partner and deputy chief investment officer Henry Boucher says: “Natasha is joining us with exceptional experience in the key areas of governance and responsible investment, which are integral to Sarasin & Partners’ investment process.
”We see ‘stewardship’ as critical to our work as longer-term investors, and at a time when the pressures on society and natural resources are so acute, it is crucial for us to apply a clear focus on material extra-financial factors and incorporate them in decision making.
”Natasha will make a hugely valuable contribution to our team and our expertise in ESG research.”
