Quilter has bolstered its London office with two hires to strengthen its investment offering.

The investment management firm has hired Alex Ford from Hartmann Capital and Jonathan Raymond from Vestra Wealth. Both joined Quilter on 3 June.

Ford was most recently in Hartmann’s wealth management arm. Prior to this, he was a private banker at Barclays Wealth, where he managed assets for individuals from the financial institutions sector.

Raymond was an investment manager at Vestra Wealth for five years, having started his career at UBS Wealth Management.

Quilter managing director Stephen Vakil says: “Following our merger with Cheviot Asset Management earlier this year we have continued to build on our strong foundations of rigorous investment process and bespoke personal service.

“The hiring of Alex and Jonathan proves we are dedicated to recruiting only the very best investment experts from across our industry.”
