Former M&G man Short joins City Financial

City Financial has named former Rivercrest Capital and M&G man Tim Short as its chief risk officer.

Short has been hired to support the equity, fixed income, multi-asset and alternative strategies that City Financial offers to retail and institutional clients.

He was most recently at hedge fund manager Rivercrest Capital, where he was risk manager for its European equity alpha fund. In addition, he was previously head of risk and fund manager at M&G Investments and has worked at AXA Framlington and Societe Generale Asset Management.
