Aviva Investors has confirmed Aaron Grehan will take over the management of Jerry Brewin’s emerging market debt funds.
Brewin is currently the head of the Aviva Investors emerging market debt team and will be leaving the firm in August.
Grehan has been with the firm since 2000 and has been a portfolio manager since 2004.
An Aviva Investors spokesperson says: “Our team-based approach means Aaron Grehan will seamlessly take over the management of our external debt capabilities following Jerry’s departure. This includes the Aviva Investors Emerging Markets Debt fund, which Aaron and Jerry have been managing hand-in-hand for more than three years.
“Emerging markets debt has been an area of success for Aviva Investors. We have a very experienced team, with total assets under management of $5bn. We are also in the process of growing this team and continuing to invest in the necessary resources to build on this success.”
