Armstrong Investment Managers is currently in talks about the future of the company after founders Ana Armstrong and Patrick Armstrong filed for a divorce.

The couple have decided to go their separate ways and are in contact with the regulator to discuss the future of their business, which is likely to be restructured, Fundweb understands.

The duo manage the £35.7m IM Distinction Diversified Real Return fund and the £20.5m Armstrong Diversified Dynamic Solution fund.

Ana and Patrick founded Armstrong Investment Managers in 2009 after leaving Insight Investment. Ana is chief executive of the firm and Patrick acts as chief investment officer.

Prior to Insight, both worked at UBS. Patrick previously worked at Deutsche Bank Securities, TD Securities and Templeton, while Ana was at Coutts.

In February, Armstrong Investment Managers hired Vincent Tournant as chief operating officer as part of plans for a “structured expansion” of the company.
