Psigma Investment Management has expanded its business development team with two senior hires.

The wealth management business has hired Skandia’s Stewart Howard to strengthen its presence in the IFA market while Chrissie Betts has transferred from Punter Southall Financial Management.

Both join as business development managers and report to director of business development and market Frank McGarry.

McGarry says: “Stewart and Chrissie’s experience will be highly valuable to Psigma as we continue our focus on the intermediary marketplace.

“Our recently expanded business development team will continue to work with advisers who understand the benefits of multi asset investing and expect excellent service”

Howard was previously responsible for protection marketing at Skandia before being appointed a business consultant to aid financial advisers in developing their business propositions in the run-up to RDR.

Betts focused on RDR integration at Punter Southall Financial Management, as well as managing the firm’s marketing and communications activities.
