JPM US – Jason Alonzo, Pavel Vaynshtok & Dennis Ruhl

With the 21 per cent of the IMA North American sector being classified as dog funds, fund managers Jason Alonzo, Pavel Vaynshtok and Dennis Ruhl have done well with the JPM US fund. With a portfolio weighted towards a recovering US economy, with 21 per cent in consumer products, the £295m fund has been able to produce a return of 31 per cent year to date. In terms of cumulative performance, the fund has been in the first quartile for five years, only dipping to second quartile in the past three months when 11 per cent of cumulative performance was recorded.
