Legal & General Investment Management is considering adding to its range of passive funds, including the launch of an global inflation linked bond tracker.
The fund manager is actively talking with Ifas about a product pipeline but there is no confirmed plan or date for launching such funds.
One of the mulled tracker funds, the Global Inflation Linked Bond Index fund, already has an entry on Bloomberg’s fund database.
The fund’s Bloomberg entry states the fund will track the performance of the Barclays World Government Ex UK Inflation Bonds TR Hedged GBP Index.
LGIM already has 13 tracker funds, including the £1.9bn L&G European Index fund.
