ING Investment Management has appointed four members to its emerging market debt team, with Daniel Eustaquio returning to the firm

Eustaquio, who was previously part of the ING IM EMD team from 1998 to 2009, joins as senior portfolio manager of hard currency.

While away, he was at Oppenheimer & Co and worked as director investments of EMD fixed income sales.

ING IM has also recruited three corporate analysts: Patricia Medina, Jasmine Le and Shilpa Singhai.

The firm is rebuilding its EMD team, after losing 19 EMD specialists to Neuberger Berman in May 2013.

ING IM CIO Hans Stoter says: “We are very pleased to welcome Daniel to ING IM. He has a long track record in managing EMD portfolios and his appointment strengthens the capabilities of our EMD team.

“Confirming of our ambition to have a top notch EMD team back in place, the recruitment of three experienced corporate analysts has further strengthen the EM corporate capabilities of our team.”
