Kirill Pyshkin, one of Aviva Investor’s senior fund managers, has left the firm for Mirabaud Asset Management.
Pyshkin will join Mirabaud head of global equities Anu Narula on all of Mirabaud’s global equity products, with primary responsibility for a yet-to-be launched global equity income fund.
He arrives at the firm on 3 February.
Mirabaud partner and asset management head Lionel Aeschlimann says his firm’s ability to attract leading talent is evidence that it is “making inroads”.
Over the past two years, Mirabaud has recruited Narula, formerly of Axa Framlington; Dan Tubbs, formerly of BlackRock, as head of global emerging markets; Andrew Lake, formerly of Aviva, as head of global high yield; and Pierre Pinel, formerly of BNP Paribas.
Mirabaud is developing a range of funds and creating a support network behind them, Aeschlimann says.
Pyshkin used to run Aviva’s £1bn range of active global equity funds, including the Aviva Ireland High Yield Equity fund, and its ethical version.
