Quilter Cheviot, born out of the merger of wealth management firm Quilter and Cheviot Asset Management, has added two new hires to its London investment team.
Peter Butcher and Nigel Olliff join the company from Quartet Capital Partners, having previously held positions at Berry Asset Management.
Both appointees join one of Quilter Cheviot’s London investment teams headed by executive director Nick Britnell.
Stephen Vakil, Quilter’s managing director, says: “Following the now formal merger our immediate priority is to ensure that we dovetail the businesses behind the scenes, minimising any potential disruption to our clients.”
The firm expanded its London investment team in 2012 with the additions of Di Griffin and Dan Weale from Kleinwort Benson and Oliver Stainer from Towry. David Butler and Simon Church also joined as regional development managers.
