Neptune has bolstered its intermediary sales team with the hire of former Skandia sales manager Nick Webb.
Webb takes on the role of intermediary sales team manager for clients in Central England and East Anglia.
Webb was one of three sales managers to leave Skandia in late 2012 after the group restructured its sales team.
Neptune appointed M&G’s Andy Larkin as head of strategic partners in May 2012 after completing a review of its UK retail sales team. Nick Pogmore and Harry Reeves have also joined Neptune as sales managers.
Neptune says Webb’s appointment completes the five-strong intermediary sales team at the asset manager, which covers the whole of the UK and is supported by three additional London-based staff. The intermediary team, as well as the four-man strategic partner team led by Andy Larkin, will report directly to Adam Hughes, head of UK wholesale.
Hughes says: “We are thrilled that Nick is joining us. He brings the precise and relevant experience that Neptune requires and comes with excellent recommendations from his peers and clients. He will be a great asset to the business. I am confident that leveraging his experience, he can further assist our strategic partner and intermediary teams to become one integrated wholesale team – the strategic aim set in May last year.”
