Tax-efficient asset house Deepbridge Advisers has hired three more staff as it plans to launch a life science Seed EIS fund and a new IHT service.
Andrew Hughes has joined as head of renewables and is responsible for finding energy projects, developing them and managing completed installations.
Most of the projects are focused on hydro and wind power for the Deepbridge Hydro EIS and the Deepbridge IHT service.
Hughes has been a project and team manager in both public and private sector organisations for more than 20 years.
Tony Lyons will do a similar job for the Deepbridge Technology Growth EIS and Deepbridge Life Sciences SEIS. He will manage the firm’s internal systems and processes as well. He has been a project manager for 25 years, working for Deloitte, Matalan and BMI.
Deepbridge has also hired Osa Ighodaro as an administration executive to support the senior management team.
Deepbridge managing director Ian Warwick says the firm is growing its profile among advisers.
“We are finding financial intermediaries and investors value the straight-talking and hands-on style of the Deepbridge team, as well as our tax-efficient investment opportunities,” he explains.
This year brought “considerable growth” which he expects to continue in 2015.
