Octopus Investments is looking to fill 10 fund manager roles following the completion of its staff review that has seen Lothar Mentel made redundant.
The firm announced yesterday that Mentel, chief investment officer and head of multi-manager, has left the business, alongside five other staff in customer services and operations.
Octopus is not replacing him, with responsibility for continuing to grow the multi-manager business passed to Guy Myles, managing director and founder.
Myles says: “As part of the review, we have added some fund management roles. Those roles will be across the business and we are looking to expand all of our fund management teams. Overall, more than ten of the outstanding 20 roles in the business are fund management roles.”
