Lombard Odier Investment Managers has hired Jan Straatman as chief investment officer.
Straatman, who will take up the new role in March, joins from ING Investment Management where he was global chief investment officer.
In his new role, Straatman will reporting to Hubert Keller, managing partner of Lombard Odier.
Keller says: “Lombard Odier Investment Management has built an investment business that began by asking the most basic questions of how to create value for investors in volatile markets.

Straatman has been global chief investment officer at ING for the past two years, having joined as chief investment officer in 2008 and was previously chief executive and chief investment officer of the Pearl Group between 2001 and 2006.
