Aviva Investors is to close the Manager of Managers Income fund after its sister funds were merged away earlier this year.
The fund, managed by Ian Aylward since October, had dwindled to just £800,000, according to its most recent factsheet.
Manager of Managers Income had aimed to achieve a “regular and growing level of income with prospects for long-term capital appreciation”.
Earlier this year, the Manager of Managers Cautious, Manager of Managers Balanced, and Manager of Managers Growth funds were merged into the Cautious Multi-asset, Balanced Multi-asset, and Adventurous Multi-asset funds, respectively.
The funds were merged to become non-Ucits retail (Nurs) funds, from their previous Ucits incarnations.
At the time Manager of Managers Income was not eligible for merging away as there was no equivalent fund within the multi-asset range.
