Wealth management group Ashcourt Rowan has named Richard Sinclair, delivery director of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as chief operating officer.
The firm has also appointed Alfio Tagliabue as chief financial officer, who will join in January.
Neil Hale and Jeremy Rance have stepped down from the Ashcourt Rowan board and will leave “with immediate effect”.
Sinclair was responsible for organising the London 2012 Olympic Games and “growing and leading the team responsible for obtaining, allocating and delivering the electromagnetic radio spectrum required for broadcasting” the games.
Jonathan Polin, chief executive at Ashcourt Rowan, says: “Having recently set out a new agenda for the business, setting a clear aim to improve the profitability of the company and to enhance shareholder value, the board believes that the addition of Alfio and Richard to the management team will greatly assist in implementing the strategic and financial initiatives announced last month.”
