Zurich has announced plans to include investment trusts within its fund watch list.
The firm says trusts will be added to the Zurich Collection fund list, launched in partnership Square Mile Consulting in March, will add trusts in the second half of 2014.
Meanwhile the fund list – which includes 50 funds and three ETFs – underwent its first revision today as the £851m Standard Life Global Index Linked Bond fund replaced the £576m JP Morgan Strategic Bond fund.
This change was made because Square Mile viewed the former as having a stronger inflation protection quality than the latter.
Zurich head of retail wealth propositions Mark Peters says: “We remain committed to supporting advisers in helping to simplify investments for them and their customers.
“The Zurich Collection has been designed with this in mind – with the review process helping to ensure customers meet their desired investment goals.”
