Standard Life Investments has appointed an investment director for Sweden to its European sales team as it expands its presence in the region.
The firm has announced the opening of its new office in Stockholm, Sweden.
SLI has also hired Christopher Andersson as investment director for sales in Sweden. He will be based out of Stockholm and will report to head of Nordics and co-head of European business Asa Norrie who is Edinburgh-based.
Andersson has fourteen years experience in the Nordic investment markets having worked as sales manager at boutique asset manager Lannebo Fonder as well as Intervalor in Stockholm.
SLI’s institutional sales team in Europe has also been boosted with the appointment of Selcuk Acar as business development manager in Germany and Austria. Selcuk joins the existing Germany sales team of three based out of Frankfurt.
