Quilter Cheviot has appointed Sam Jacobs as a business development management manager to focus on the Chinese market.
Based in London, Jacobs will work with portfolio advisers and Chinese clients seeking Tier One Investor Visas.
Before joining this newly-created role Jacobs was a financial planner at London & Capital.
Prior to this he was also at Charles Stanley and Bank of Scotland.
Quilter Cheviot chief executive Martin Baines says: “Each international market has its own idiosyncrasies, and a good understanding of its language, culture and nuances of investor behaviour will always be key to enriching how a business can operate there.
“Sam joining the team will enable us to greatly enhance the services we provide to our Chinese clients and further increase our influence in this attractive market. He has already proven just how effective he is, and we’re very pleased to have him on board.”
